Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist


You are a go-getter who is looking to bring new ideas and bold goals to our well loved brands. As the Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist, you will help drive organic traffic through effective content curation and content marketing strategies, grow our social communities across multiple channels, develop and curate engaging content to further business objectives, and manage daily social conversations. Key Responsibilities include:


  • Create and manage engaging and informative content via blogs, newsletters, video and social media while ensuring brand consistency across all channels
  • Develop the social media content strategy to increase engagement and visibility across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Maximize followers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Manage online social channels by engaging with communities daily to answer and monitor questions
  • Identify and escalate social community feedback, comments, issues, and trends for the purpose of improving our followers’ overall brand experience
  • Provide coaching to partners on social media to allow them to leverage social channels in driving brand awareness and lead generation
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends and best practices to continually improve our social media strategy
  • Handle day-to-day publishing of editorial calendar on social media channels
  • Write clear, compelling communications and feature stories for targeted demographics.
  • Communicate in a professional but unique social media “voice” for each product and subject area.
  • Create social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive target buyers to sites to generate sales leads and revenue.
  • Compile all metrics and communicate to clients

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Marketing Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of social media coordination/content marketing experience
  • Related work experience: Copywriting, blogging, and community engagement
  • Demonstrated experience and a passion for social technology
  • Familiar with all capabilities of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+ and other social media platforms
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Keyword Planner Hootsuite (or equivalent Social Media Dashboard), WordPress, MailChimp

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:


  • Proven track record in social media strategy and management.
  • Ability to write creatively, clearly, and compellingly. An eye for detail and impeccable grammar.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision; independent and self-sufficient.
  • Ability to think strategically; results-driven.
  • Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Critical thinker with keen problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Interested in selling and marketing different items to an intelligent and informed audience.
