Job Description

PHP Developer will be responsible for:

- The development and support of a flagship digital e-commerce platform based on the Magneto e-commerce platform.

He / she will work within Agile technology teams focused on the development and roll out of features and platforms in a multi country and multi-channel environment.

 

Requirements

• Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 3- 5 year(s)

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds

• Proficient in PHP

• Web Services (SOAP, REST)

• Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert

• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Kohana, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)

• Extensive experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

• Hands on Angular, couchDB and/or MongoDB

• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL

• Knowledge of API's, such as Google maps, Instagram, etc.

• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with HTTP/REST APIs and integrating with existing systems

• Working knowledge of distributed source code management using Git

• Experience working with a geographically diverse team

• Architectural knowledge of Azure platform

• Understand horizontal and vertical scaling of system

• Understand performance and scalability concepts of e-commerce

• Able to take requirements from Business and able to execute by itself
