Analyzes relevant internal and external sites to determine best practices-Develops, tests and refines prototypess
Assesses product, user research, and design requirements
Equalizes in user experience strategy and design
Coordinates and contributes to the experience design for user research, user-centered design processes, project leadership, and user experience prototyping and development
Assists in improving the user experience for accessing current and future publications, outreach, research, data, special projects, speeches, education materials, multi-media content, and other types of communications that support the mission of the company
Analyzes relevant internal and external sites to determine best practices-Develops, tests and refines prototypes
Collaborate with product management, interaction designers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
Develops sketches, screen layout and visual components to effectively communicate design ideas to project objectives
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Requirements
Solid work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Deep understanding and proven experience with web, iOS, and Android platforms
Knowledge of wireframe tools
Experience with creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite & Sketch app
Cutting-edge design/layout/interaction and branding skills with good experience in prototyping tools (e.g. InVision)
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
At least 2 years’ experience in a combination of user experience design, interaction design and service design
History of acquiring and applying user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing exploratory research
Experience shipping products and evaluating metrics to determine success
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
