Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with strong proficiency in PHP to join our team within the financial and educational website sectors. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in building and customizing WordPress websites, capable of working with complex PHP code, and have a solid understanding of the unique needs of financial markets and educational content management. This role requires a professional who can handle both front-end and back-end development, ensuring our websites are secure, high-performing, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins, for financial and educational platforms
  • Optimize website performance, applying best practices in website design, functionality, and security
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver high-quality, responsive websites that meet industry standards in finance and education
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, focusing on performance and security concerns specific to financial transactions and educational content
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, integrating new technologies to enhance user experience and functionality
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with an impressive portfolio, ideally including work on financial or educational websites
  • Strong expertise in PHP and MySQL
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
  • Familiarity with SEO, website optimization, and web security measures for financial and educational platforms
  • Knowledge of Git and version control systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, and other popular WordPress plugins
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services, especially those relevant to financial transactions or educational content delivery
  • Knowledge of server management and hosting environments suitable for financial and educational websites
