Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to join our team. A Market Research Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help inform business decisions and support marketing strategies. This role involves conducting research on market conditions, competitors, and consumer preferences to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a passion for data, and a commitment to understanding market dynamics.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather data on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
- Analyze and interpret data to identify market opportunities, consumer behaviors, and competitive positioning
- Develop and maintain reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to integrate research insights into strategic decisions
- Monitor industry trends and emerging market conditions to identify potential risks and growth opportunities
- Design and implement surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods to gather quantitative and qualitative insights
- Evaluate and recommend research methodologies and tools for continuous improvement in data accuracy and relevance
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or in a similar role, with a track record of delivering actionable insights
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or R; experience with survey software is a plus
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
- Solid knowledge of primary and secondary research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights in a clear and compelling way
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
