Grutto is a Food Tech company in the scale-up phase with the mission to put regenerative agriculture on the map and market the products it produces. Today, we sell online meat (packages) directly from good local farmers. Farmers who take good care of their animals, the soil, and nature. We process all meat from nose to tail so that nothing goes to waste.

Through radical transparency and traceability, we promise our customers that the meat they eat comes from good farmers and is delivered to their homes without unnecessary middlemen. In this way, we want to make the industrial meat sector natural again; environmentally conscious, animal friendly, and without waste. There is no doubt that the meat is conveniently vacuumed, nutritious, and super tasty. 

Are you an English-speaking full-stack developer looking for a (remote) challenge? We are looking for you! As a full-stack developer, you are responsible for building & maintaining our e-commerce platform. The mission for this role is to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business and make sure the company’s webshops can reliably grow in all countries. You will communicate with our international team and stakeholders to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

Outcomes / Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical team and aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency. Thus helping departments use our technology profitably.
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Requirements: 

  • Upper-intermediate English knowledge (Required)
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of PHP & Javascript (REACT) development. 
  • Proficiency with MySQL, stored procedures, functions, and database performance. 
  • Good understanding of OOP. 
  • Familiar with WordPress and WooCommerce development. 
  • 6+ years experience in required skills.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git. 
  • Ability to write clean, well-structured, reusable code. 
  • Good problem-solving skills. 
Plus:

  • Experience working with clouds like AWS. 
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs. 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies like SCRUM.
