Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with extensive accounting experience to join us. The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing and interpreting financial information

• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends weekly

• Analyzing change and advising accordingly

• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

• Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems

• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out

• Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors and bankers

• Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines

• Managing budgets

• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation

• Plan, control, audit and analyze financial records and report to director Manager

• Dealing with income tax, salary tax, withholding tax, VAT and Ministry of Finance and Tax issues and having direct contact with authorities.

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions

• Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Fluency in English

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Finance or Accounting

• +5 years of related experience as a finance manager or accounting manager

• Excellent knowledge of Finance

• Highly numerate with strong IT and financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to interpret data and assess impacts on the business.

• The ability to communicate with staff at all levels-Team player

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially high competent in the use of Excel

• Self-confident, decisive, resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. and meet deadlines required
