We are seeking an experienced part-time Social Media Administrator focusing on Instagram and YouTube to join our innovative startup in the AI education sector. Our company specializes in using advanced technology to teach literacy to children aged 5 to 12. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of children's education, literacy, and children's books. You will be responsible for executing and managing a pre-defined content strategy, ensuring content is posted according to schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage a content strategy for Instagram and YouTube, ensuring consistent and engaging posts that resonate with our target audience of parents and educators.
- Create and post high-quality content, including images, videos, and educational materials, according to a well-defined schedule.
- Utilize tools like Photoshop, Canva, and other image editing tools to create visually appealing content.
- Have excellent copywriting skills to craft compelling and educational content.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation, scheduling, and follower engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in social media, children’s education, and digital literacy to keep our platforms relevant and engaging.
- Be familiar with photography and videography techniques.
- Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, and work to improve engagement and reach.
- Understand and manage social media algorithms and stay updated with platform changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Administrator or similar role, particularly in managing Instagram and YouTube channels.
- Strong understanding of children's education, literacy, and children's literature.
- Proficiency in content creation using tools like Photoshop, Canva, and other image editing tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of social media algorithms, management, and updates.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere or other video editing software is a plus.
- Familiarity with After Effects and motion graphics creation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with photography and videography.
- Strong English language skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to changing trends and audience needs.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on children's learning experiences.
