Job Description

We seek a talented and detail-oriented Market Research Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Market Research Specialist, you will gather and analyze data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making within the company's marketing department. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market research methodologies, and the ability to communicate findings to key stakeholders effectively.


Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Design and execute market research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
Analyze data using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights and recommendations for the marketing team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop research plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Utilize various research tools and platforms to gather and analyze data, such as customer surveys, online analytics, and social media listening.
Stay up to date with the latest market research methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Assist in the evaluation of new market opportunities and the assessment of potential risks.
Analyze public opinion and sentiment regarding the company's brand and offerings.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 
Proven experience in market research, preferably within the on-demand delivery or logistics industry. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data sets. 
Proficiency in using market research tools and software. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey research findings.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
Experienced in conducting competitor analysis, including gathering data on competitor offerings, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies.
Extensive knowledge of benchmarking methodologies and best practices. 
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and familiarity with data visualization tools. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis software. 
A passion for staying informed about market trends and consumer behavior.
