Our team
We’re looking for a Software Tester to join our ​Quality Assurance team, which makes sure our clients’ requirements are met and bugs are fixed before our software is deployed. As a Software Tester, you will run high-quality tests to ensure the stability and usability of our websites and applications. By ensuring that our developers' products meet our high standards, you will safeguard the quality of our software delivery.

Responsibilities 

  • Carry out manual and automated testing to ensure that our products, services, and systems meet high standards for usability, performance, functionality, scalability, stability, compatibility, and integration. 
  • Utilise your coding and programming knowledge to perform various tests such as black box, white box, regression, component, local and internationalisation, API and load testing. 
  • Test​ ​applications,​ ​back-end​ ​architecture,​ ​and​ ​back-office​ ​systems. 
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other teams in the planning, design and execution of several​ ​types​ ​of​ ​testing​ ​based​ ​on​ ​different​ ​objectives. 
  • Plan​ ​and​ ​integrate​ ​various​ ​types​ ​of​ ​testing​ ​into​ ​our​ ​existing​ ​workflow. 
  • Ensure​ ​the​ ​integrity​ ​of​ ​releases​ ​by​ ​coordinating​ ​testing​ ​activities. 
  • Identify, investigate,​ ​resolve, and​​ ​document any ​bugs​ ​that​ ​you​ ​find​ or any issues reported by clients. 
  • Suggest​ ​ideas​​ ​to​ ​enhance​ ​the​ ​design,​ ​usability,​ ​and​ ​functionality​ ​of websites​ ​and​ applications. 

Minimum requirements 

  • Bachelor’s​ ​degree​ ​in​ ​computer​ ​science ​or​ ​an​ ​equivalent​ ​combination​ ​of​ ​technical education,​ ​training,​ ​and​ ​work​ ​experience 
  • A​ ​solid​ ​understanding​ ​of​ ​the​ ​software​ ​development​ ​lifecycle 
  • Experience​ ​in​ ​a​ ​software​ ​or​ ​web​ ​application​ ​testing​ ​role 
  • Experience​ in ​designing​ ​and​ ​executing​ ​test​ ​plans​ ​(both​ ​automated​ ​and​ ​manual) 
  • Proficiency​ in ​one​ ​or​ ​more​ ​scripting​ ​languages,​ ​such​ ​as​ ​Python,​ ​PHP​, ​or​ ​C/C++ 
  • Experience​ in ​agile​ ​development​ ​methods​ ​such​ ​as​ ​Scrum​ ​or​ ​Kanban 
  • Familiarity​ ​with​ ​Git 
  • Good understanding of ​Linux​ ​and​ ​other​ ​open-source​ ​platforms 
  • Up-to-date​ ​knowledge​ ​of​ ​the​ ​latest​ ​software​ ​testing​ ​trends 
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written 

Preferred qualifications and experience 

  • Experience in performance and load testing 
  • Experience in Robot Framework 
  • Experience​ ​with​ ​project​ ​management​ ​tools​ ​such​ ​as​ ​Trello​ ​or​ ​Asana​ 
  • Experience​ ​with​ ​Postgres​ ​or​ ​another​ ​RDBMS​ 
  • Proficiency in Perl
