About the role
We’re looking for a UX Motion Designer to join our Product Design team, which is in charge of creating a seamless user experience. As a UX Motion Designer, you will help define our approach for motion and tell the story of our brand and products.
Responsibilities
● Produce creative ideas, storyboards, and prototypes to assist with developing our motion design language.
● Employ motion to bring clarity to the product narrative and make our products easy to understand and a joy to use.
● Work with other teams to create tutorial and promotional content for different devices such as laptops, mobiles, and tablets as well as different platforms such as web, Android, and iOS.
● Enhance interactivity and create a seamless experience for our clients by producing engaging videos, animations, and motion graphics.
● Keep abreast of the developments in your field and have an insight into the future of motion design.
Minimum requirements
● University degree in computer science, design, or a related field
● 3+ years of experience as a motion designer
● Portfolio of motion design work, showcasing talent for creating interaction in various platforms and devices, particularly as a UI/UX element
● Skill in working with motion graphics programs, such as Final Cut Pro, Principle, and After Effects
● Competency in narrating with the use of motion
● Familiarity with animation principles
● Fluency in spoken and written English
Preferred experience
● Expertise in leading designers with an insight into the future of interactive motion
● Experience in mitigating perceived latency with the use of motion
● Skill in combining coding and art to create captivating narrations
● Ability to appreciate small details connected to patterns, visual design, and physics
● Portfolio of storyboarding sketches at the conceptual stage
