SabaIdea is an active company in the internet technologies field, which created some of the most visited Iranian websites like Aparat, Filimo, Sabavision, and Cinematicket. We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team.
Position Overview: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backbone and data center network design and operations, with expertise in troubleshooting. If you are passionate about network architecture, have hands-on experience with Arista and Cisco routers and switches, possess a deep understanding of TCP/IP, and have familiarity with fiber optic technologies, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage data center networks
● Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
● Perform routine network maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance
● Communicating with other Internet provider technical teams to enhance service delivery
● Work closely with other teams to develop and implement network solutions
● Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
● Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
● Checking network status daily and analyzing graphs to make sure everything is going fine and trying to improve the network based on checking results
● Try to automate repetitive tasks as much as possible

Requirements:
● Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in network design and engineering
● Expert-level experience with Cisco/Arista routers and switches in backbone/data center networks
● Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
● To be able and like to handle a wide variety of work, ranging from office networking to multiple datacenter networks
● Expertise in BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, VPC/MLAG
● Expertise in network automation using Ansible or Python
● Expertise in routing/switching technologies
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
● Good knowledge of network monitoring systems
● Familiarity with network security solutions
● Familiarity with fiber optic technologies and wireless links
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
