Job Description/Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and experienced Python Backend Developer to join our team to contribute to the maintenance, and development of the existing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Flask(or Django), a deep understanding of backend development, and some hands-on experience with front-end technologies like React/Next.js.
While the role focuses on backend development, the candidate should be comfortable working across the full stack when necessary. Although the primary focus will be on the backend, ensuring their stability, scalability, and performance; however, it’ll be expected, minor frontend tasks to be handled, for the sake of seamless integration between the backend and frontend. This dual capability is crucial for maintaining the cohesiveness of the entire application.
Key responsibilities include:
- Backend Development:
○ Maintain and enhance the existing backend infrastructure built with Python and Flask.
○ Design, implement, and document new features and APIs.
○ Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
○ Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
○ Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
○ Implement efficient database queries and data storage solutions.
- DevOps and Deployment:
○ Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment.
○ Manage and configure Redis and Elasticsearch for caching and search functionalities.
○ Ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Skills/Requirements:
● Proficiency in Python and Flask.
● Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
● In-depth knowledge of software design patterns and their practical applications.
● Experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
● Familiarity with Django framework is a plus
● Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like React/Next.js.
● Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
● Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
● Familiarity with Redis and Elasticsearch.
● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
● Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
● Soft Skills:
● Problem-solving skills and attention to detail/ communication and collaboration
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role would be beneficial.

Job Description / Responsibilities:
● Design & build scalable, responsive and maintainable web applications using React and Next.js
● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
● Create components, and implement pages and flows designed using UI/UX designers
● Develop highly efficient user interface components
Minimum requirements:
● It is most important to have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and proficiency in React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS
● 3+ years of experience (except for highly skilled candidates)
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Experience with REST APIs, third-party libraries & full life cycle of web development
● Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code
