Felixin is a leading company in Software development dedicated to provide high quality software solutions for customers. We seek a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team to help optimize and secure our deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and carry out effective testing strategies, plans, and methods for complex software systems on various platforms (web, mobile, desktop) and architectures.
2. Lead and support a team of QA professionals, offering guidance and expertise to ensure high-quality results.
3. Work closely with stakeholders to set acceptance criteria, user stories, and testable requirements, ensuring all aspects are covered in testing.
4. Develop and run test cases, scripts, and scenarios to find software application defects, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
5. Perform risk assessments and root cause analysis to drive improvements and influence the development process to prevent future issues.
6. Promote and use automation tools and frameworks to make testing more efficient and comprehensive.
7. Track and report on software quality metrics, providing insights and suggestions for improving processes.
8. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, offering timely and accurate feedback throughout the development cycle.
9. Stay current with new trends, tools, and technologies in QA, and apply industry best practices.
10. Act as an expert in quality assurance, participating in hiring, training, and sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Extensive experience in QA roles or similar positions, with a strong background in software testing methods and best practices.
3. Proven experience in leading and mentoring a QA team.
4. Solid understanding of test planning, test case development, and execution across different software platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
5. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber) and scripting languages (such as Python, Java, JavaScript).
6. Good knowledge of software development methods (like Agile, and Scrum) and experience working in Agile teams.
7. Familiarity with performance testing, load testing, and security testing tools.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
10. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
11. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Proxyman.
