CI/CD Engineer responsibilities
•Develop CI/CD principles:
•Design CI/CD process for various products of the company based on the development tools and deployment targets (On-prem VM, K8s, Public Clouds)
•Define KPIs to measure the CI/CD process effectiveness
•Review and modify CI/CD principles, iteratively
•Monitor the CI/CD process and find potential bottlenecks
•Refine and reengineer the processes to eliminate the bottleneck and improve the performance
•Maintain CI/CD tools/platforms:
•Compare, select, install, configure and optimize the CI/CD tools/platforms to fulfill company’s CI/CD process requirements.
•Develop and maintain pipeline configurations
•Implement the CI/CD process using tools and technologies of choice
•Engage with software development and operations teams to gauge and improve their experience with CI/CD processes and tools
•Automate processes:
•Use IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and GitOps for infrastructure automation.

CI/CD Engineer Qualification
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
•5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD at an advanced level
•Good knowledge of Cloud Native Computing concepts and technologies
•Proficient in a using CI/CD tools and technologies
•Proficient in Git, YAML and Shell scripting
•Possessing leadership, good team communication skills
•Focused, sharp and detail-oriented
•Keen to learn and use new concepts, tools and technologies
