Job Description

• Provide category portfolio development
• Run Purchasing activity based on category budget, margin, Sales
• Coordinate the development, execution and improve the performance of the declared category by efficient assortment building (Supplier and product selection) pricing
• Plan and execute special promotional campaigns, prepare promotions in parallel with the marketing plan and seasonality
• Analyze market conditions, maintain strategic market relationships and knowledge of market trends
• Having knowledge about products and trade regulation
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
• Determine supplier selection; evaluate them based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety
• Develop strong relationships; negotiate all costs with current and new suppliers
• Deal with supplier-based problems as they arise
• Identify potential suppliers, visit existing suppliers, and build and maintain good relationships
• Work with sales team to develop plans to increase the sales and achieve maximum volume incentives to improve overall profits
• Gathering information relating to the customer reaction to products
• Prepare periodic performance reports
