Responsibilities:
- Fluent in HPE Server and storage
- Explore and evaluate new techniques and tools
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Design, implement, and administer start-up and routine scripts
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution
- Fluent in vMware vSphere and Advanced features (HA,FT,DRS,NSX,...)
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Windows scripting (Power Shell and other DISA standard tools) to optimize and automate system administration tasks
- Maintain internal security standards, administering and developing internal antivirus, DLP, and authentication software and hardware technology
- Design, implement, and administer Windows Services and environments with a deep understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory Administration
- Responsible for documentation of IT tasks which include documents that deal with servers, network, backup, and security (e.g: account maintenance, backup, startup, and shutdown)
Requirements and skills:
- Linux (Lpic1)
- vMware vSphere
- Skype for Business 2019
- Familiar with HP Servers
- Microsoft Exchange Email Service
- Hyper-V and VMware Horizon View
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2022
- MCSE and VCP certification preferred
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Microsoft Windows Clustering Concepts
- Strong scripting ability such as PowerShell
- Strong Microsoft Windows Server Administration
- SCCM, Orchestrator, SQL Server, and SharePoint
- Familiar with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concept
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP,Routing and Subnetting.)
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based environments.
- Systems administration of a Windows Servers environment: active directory, permissions, security, audit, and scripts
- Familiar with the administration of VMware ESXi servers and infrastructure, Including Initial installations, configurations, support, and troubleshooting
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- More than 5 years of experience supporting and implementing Microsoft desktop and server technologies; more than 5 years of supporting and managing server and virtualized technologies
