Responsibilities:
- Maintaining servers and switches
- Maintaining & implementation of the SOP for Network Security
- Status reports of hardware and software products as per designated policies
- Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security
- Cisco ISE Deployment: Ability to perform a ground-up 802.1x deployment using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- VPN Solutions: Proficiency in Cisco AnyConnect VPN and Palo Alto Global Protect solutions, including deployment and troubleshooting
- Problem Solving: Highly experienced in troubleshooting and resolving firewall access issues, network translation issues, VPN issues, and other general issues related to firewalls
- Firewall Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in both Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls, including stateful filtering, deep packet inspection, zone/security-level segmentation, and firewall high availability
- IPSEC VPN Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IPSEC VPN technologies, including the ability to create, troubleshoot, and understand the theory (IKEv1 and IKEv2). Proficiency in Cisco CLI commands related to VPN configuration is essential
Requirements and skills:
- Investigations of Security breach alert
- Developing the security authentication protocol
- Supervising the installation of new software and hardware
- Tracking the vulnerable scripts to avert the potential threats
- Implement a virus detection system beforehand for sound safety
- Resolving the existing security issue including hardware malfunctions
- Knowledge of performing routing protocols (MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QoS, and WAN)
- Recommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas that affect IT security
- Generating and maintaining the virtual private network, firewalls, web protocols, and email security
- Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems)
- knowledge of IGPs, service-provider grade BGP, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco Wireless, and related technologies
- Maintaining LAN, WLAN, and architecture of the server as per the business policy as a precautionary measure, analyzing and implementing new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BSc in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Five to 10 years of experience in Network Security Engineer position
