Responsibilities:
- Determine the best solution based on the issue
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Serve as the first point of contact for employers seeking technical assistance
- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner about installing, making changes, and repairing computer hardware and software
Requirements and skills:
- Familiar with VoIP
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux computers
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
