Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform by designing and executing systematic tests. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure that our products are free of defects and meet the high standards set by Raika.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks:
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the features and functionalities meet the specified requirements.
- Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools and document test results.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and features.
- Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Conduct performance and security testing to ensure that the system can handle anticipated loads and is secure from vulnerabilities.
- Participate in product releases by providing quality sign-offs.
- Support project documentation planning.
- Assist in monitoring and tracking change requests related to the quality aspects of the project.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tools.
- Provide regular reports on test status to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools, preferably Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
