We are looking for a person who be able to troubleshoot difficult or chronic problems and identifies both short and long-term solutions. Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed drawings for network architecture. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of the network.
- Support, troubleshoot, install, and configure routers, switches, firewalls, UTMs, analyzers, and wireless devices.
- Participating in the daily planning, tracking, scheduling, and execute project tasks and general network operations activities.
- Diagnosing, resolving, and documenting hardware and software network problems quickly and accurately.
- Configuring networks to ensure reliable operation for business objectives and processes.
- Administering and maintaining site infrastructure, including network connectivity and Internet
Job requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data centers and WAN network environment
- Practical Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, WLCs, and FortiGate UTMs.
- Administration of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco FirePower Threat Defense (FTD) and Firepower Management Console (FMC), Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), including device configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, STP, FHRP, QoS, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, DMVPN, Firewalls, ACLs, 802.11, RA-VPN, etc..
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP or CCIP or CCIE)
- Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
