Job Description

Designing, developing, and enhancing electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices
Execute product designs, including concept, specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing
Design and create necessary drawings to manufacture standard conveying equipment and/or customized devices in accordance with the company’s needs
Conducting research, documentation of findings, and presenting reports at meetings
Propose automation solutions and the software to monitor and control them
Conducting research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings
Develop engineering documents for mechanical parts and final products
Selecting the required tools and materials for the manufacturing process

Job Requirements

CAD experience with best practices for part design, advanced assemblies, complex configuration management (ideally with SolidWorks)
Experience in designing complex mechanical products and equipment through the full product development cycle from inception through maturity, including creating associated documentation (specs, test plans, drawings, etc.)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate concepts
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Basic knowledge of GD&T (proficiency is a plus)
Familiar with analog and digital electronics
STM32 Cortex-M programming
Familiar with microcontroller peripherals
Skilled in PCB Design with Altium Designer and similar software
Able to report, document, and present the projects
Expertise in at least one programming language (ideally, Python or C++)
You will ideally also have development experience with Linux and ROS.
Familiarity with Industrial Design would be an advantage
