Job Description
We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our enterprise product team, you will work across internal tools, leading design projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for developing user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and other assets to facilitate the design process, as well as creating prototypes to test and validate assumptions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, stakeholders, and senior executives, to make our platform a success. We’re looking for someone who can think several steps ahead, articulate design decisions clearly, and prioritize the needs of our users. You’ll need to have a strong sense of ownership and a “ship it” mentality, as we continue to build our world-class design team.
Our view is that modern applications require increasingly complex technological demands, and we have a responsibility to make the tools used to develop and deliver these applications simpler and easier to use. As a Senior Product Designer at Digikala, you will play an integral role in driving this mission forward.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the design process from ideation to launch, ensuring that all designs meet customer needs and business goals.
● Conduct user research studies and analyze the resulting data to gain insights into user behavior and needs. This includes skills such as tracking user behaviors, conducting surveys, usability testing, and user interviews.
● Take a hands-on approach to interface and experience design of our products.
● Develop user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and other assets to facilitate the design process.
● Create prototypes to test and validate assumptions.
● Design clean and unique user interfaces that reflect UX requirements and complement brand/product identity.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data analysts to develop and execute product strategies.
● Work with front-end engineering to deliver designs of the highest quality to our users.
● Observe current user behavior and make design suggestions to improve UX.
● Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
● Adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment.
● Build empathy and understanding of our users and how to empower them.
● Set a design vision for modern enterprise apps and become an expert in this field.
Requirements:
● +5 years of experience in digital product design (Web or app)
● Experience in designing complex enterprise panels.
● Component-first mindset in design.
● Familiar with using and creating design systems.
● Intuitive mind for good user experience.
● Able to analyze, optimize, and simplify complex flows and scenarios.
● Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
● Familiar with designing for different platforms.
● Relevant understanding of best practices and trends in UI/UX design.
● Obsessive attention to even the smallest of details.
● Great time management skills.
● A portfolio that demonstrates previous design experience, breadth and depth of design skills, a case study or two that illustrate challenges, methods, roles, and outcomes.
● Expert with visual design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
● Understanding of technical requirements and aspects of modern apps.
● Experience running user interviews and testing sessions.
The ideal candidate has a strong proficiency in working with research tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Microsoft Clarity.
Experience in designing B2B products is a plus.
