Job Description

The Job Purpose provides a high-level overview of the role, level, and scope of responsibility consisting of three or four sentences providing a basic understanding, the “bird’s eye view” of the role. A concise summary of “why the job exists?”

The Pricing senior specialist is responsible for updating the prices with proper knowledge of the digital goods market, searching, on the internet sites and knowing the reliable sellers.

Also, in case of a mistake by the sellers, according to the instructions and approved SOPs, he is responsible for dealing with the offending sellers, and if the sellers protest, they should be held accountable.

Ability to understand pricing team algorithms and how they work. Reporting of individual tasks and preparation of raw data for checking prices.

Ability to analyse existing algorithms and optimize them, technical needs assessments to speed up team processes.

The ability to analyse data and report on them and the ability to communicate strongly between the pricing team and other teams.


Key Accountabilities are;

  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze pricing history/ trend
  • Use statistical models to evaluate the potential impact of pricing strategies on ma, margins, costs and thereby profitability and sales volume
  • Stay informed of industry/ competition price trends to enable the company to quickly respond to market trends.
  • Close communication with CS and business/ commercial teams to address the matters raised by customers regarding pricing.
  • Review and record price deviations and exceptions for future alignment the met with the commercial team
  • Translate data into actionable information through written reports and visual presentations
  • Discovering the price of a product by searching on the internet (online market)
  • Adjusting the price of a product, based on requests of sellers on daily basis.
