شرح موقعیت شغلی


We are searching for a data scientist or a machine learning expert to join our Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AI & Big Data) department. Tools developed in this department power the intelligence behind Digikala’s search and recommendation engines among many other components. The department has three teams: data science, data engineering, and product management. You will be joining the data science team.


What you will do:

  • Own end to end life-cycle of data science projects.
  • Research and develop data-driven solutions (using pytorch, scikit-learn, ...).
  • Gain insights using data analysis and present them to stakeholders.
  • Write close-to-production code.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and product managers.
  • Ability to identify and translate business and customer needs into data science projects.

Job Requirement:

  • Curious and analytical mindset.
  • Team player.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling.
  • Python and SQL proficiency.
  • Familiarity with big data tools (spark, hive, …).
  • Some knowledge of software development and its tools (git, docker, ...).
  • Education in a quantitative field.

Nice to have: 

  • Previously developed and deployed an end to end data science project.
  • Track record of identifying and addressing business pain points using data analysis.
  • Production grade software development expertise.
