We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Goods Supply Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a dual focus, dedicating 50% of their time to real estate and warehouse rental management, and 50% to purchasing indirect materials. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, real estate management, supplier management, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.
Responsibilities:
Real Estate and Warehouse Rental (50%):
•Manage and oversee real estate and warehouse rental activities, including identifying and securing rental properties that meet organizational needs.
•Negotiate lease terms and conditions, ensuring favourable agreements for the company.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine space requirements and develop strategic plans for space utilization.
•Monitor market trends in real estate and warehouse rental to identify opportunities and optimize rental agreements.
Purchasing Indirect Materials (50%):
•Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for indirect materials, including IT services, marketing services, facilities management, and office supplies.
•Identify and qualify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies.
•Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
•Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes, including price, terms, and service level agreements.
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and resolving any issues.
•Analyze spending data and develop reports to track savings, supplier performance, and other key metrics.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout procurement.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, real estate, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on services and indirect materials, and/or real estate and warehouse rental.
•Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
•Experience with supplier management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
•Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
