We are on the hunt for a Security Engineer with expertise in safeguarding web applications developed using Python (Django) and TypeScript (Next.js). This role will be at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and security, tasked with ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the company's digital assets. As a Security Engineer, you will be expected to design, implement, and monitor security measures for our advanced application modules and provide ongoing security insights to our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Security: Ensure that applications developed in Python Django and TypeScript Next.js are free from vulnerabilities and security threats.

Incident Management: Rapidly respond to and manage security incidents, providing detailed analyses and recommendations.

Design & Implementation: Craft security architectures for newly developed modules and improve the security of existing ones.

Code Reviews: Conduct regular security audits and code reviews, ensuring best security practices are followed in Python Django and TypeScript Next.js applications.

Collaboration: Engage with the development team to address security concerns and offer insights and solutions in the application development lifecycle.

Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest in security trends, especially relating to Python Django and TypeScript Next.js ecosystems.

Skills:

Extensive experience as a Security Engineer or related role.

Strong knowledge of Python (Django) and TypeScript (Next.js) web frameworks.

Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and best practices relevant to web applications.

Proficiency in tools used for web application security like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, etc.

Deep understanding of common web application vulnerabilities and their mitigation techniques.
