Senior Back-End Developer
Level: Intermediate–Senior (3–5 years' experience)
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain server-side application logic, APIs, and data models.
• Design and optimize database schemas across relational and / or NoSQL systems.
• Ensure application scalability, performance, and security across services. • Build and maintain integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
• Write automated tests (unit, integration) and participate in code review.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product management to deliver features end-to-end.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues as they arise.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of professional back-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one back-end language/runtime (e.g. , Node. js/TypeScript, Python, Java, or . NET).
• Experience designing and querying relational databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. , MongoDB). 
• Experience designing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Experience with containerization (Docker) is an asset; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• Understanding of application security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. 
• Working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
