A Canada Based Logistics company looking to fill an immediate Remote need with the addition of a new Business Development Representative to their team. In this role, the Business Development Representative (Remote) will be responsible for continuously testing, measuring, learning and innovating to improve the performance of targeted campaigns.
- Identify opportunities in warehousing, transloading and FTL marketspace to align truck to rail, door-to-door solutions
- Cold Call prospect accounts and locate decision makers
- Build and maintain relationships with decision makers
- Develop relationships with customers, industry contacts, contact referrals, and networking
- Develop a sales pipeline to generate qualified leads, qualifying accounts
- Collaborate with internal market managers and sales agents to connect with customers in their respective markets
- Maintain and update customer files in Hubspot
- Problems solve and create solutions to reach customers not currently served
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly individual sales goals as defined
- Facilitate on-boarding process of new accounts
This position is a remote ( work from home ) full time position and candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Working hours are based in Canada's daytime 9 to 5 Eastern time. Your resume must be in English.
