Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend components of our trading platform using Python.
Design and implement order matching engines to handle high-frequency trading data.
Integrate with third-party APIs.
Optimize performance and scalability of the platform to handle large volumes of data.
Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience as a backend developer, preferably in the fintech or trading industry.
Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with Django or Flask web frameworks is advantageous.
Proficiency in SQL and database management, preferably with MySQL or similar relational databases.
Knowledge of real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets.
Familiarity with financial markets, order types, and trading algorithms is advantageous.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external services.
Solid understanding of concurrency, performance optimization, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Expertise in full object-oriented programming (OOP).
