Responsibilities

  •     Ability to analyze, retrain, and improve machine learning models
  •     Process and display realtime sensors data
  •     Convert detailed requirements into tangible solutions while meeting deadlines and acceptance criteria.
  •     Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  •     Self-motivation with attention to details
  •     Ability to work remotely with a team

 

Skills and Qualifications

  •     Strong experience with scientific Python
  •     Experience with supervised/unsupervised ML algorithms using scikit-learn
  •     Experience with raster and vector geospatial data formats using GDAL 
  •     Experience with computer vision and machine learning algorithms using OpenCV
  •     Experience with imageio to read and write a wide range of image data
  •     Work with sensor data (drones, geotiffs, temperature and others)
  •     Design and implementation of Flask API to be consumed by frontend developers
  •     Experience with relational database in MySQL
  •     Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  •     Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git (GitHub)    

 

Nice to have 

  •     Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (jQuery)
  •     Familiar with Vue.js
  •     Familiar with ASP.NET / ASP Core
  •     Experience with Python data analysis tools: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas and Matplotlib
  •     Familiar with Apache Hadoop to manage data processing and storage for big data applications running in clustered systems
  •     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience
  •     Worked with automated deployments and continuous integration
