Machine learning team at Fakour creates novel machine learning approaches to OSS and network management applications. They utilize their creativity and innovation to help the firm operate profitably in markets around the globe. All types of learning and AI, including deep learning and statistical learning, are potentially relevant.
Main Responsibilities:
Your primary task in this position will be identifying and defining concrete machine learning tasks and solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, projects in pattern recognition, computer vision, and NLP. You will lead and provide technical vision for multidisciplinary research teams to bring next gen intelligent OSS to reality. You will lead and collaborate on technical proposals to grow and define machine learning research in Intelligent Systems. You will communicate research vision, results, and impact to clients, as well as internal management through papers, presentations, and technical reports. Interact with a non-technical team to understand customer pain points and areas of focus is at your responsibility. You need to collaborate and communicate with engineering counterparts to develop and transform the prototype solution.
what you'll do
● Delving into state-of-the-art machine learning methods and developing and/or applying statistical modeling techniques; In particular, deep learning, optimization, and other ML techniques
● Critical thinking and development of solutions for machine learning (ML) applications
● Researching and implementing novel ML and statistical approaches to add value to the business
● Identifying problems in Telecom that can benefit from the latest advancements in ML.
● Breaking down complex problems into approachable stages and bringing concepts to production
● Defining performance measures
● Explore multiple machine learning algorithms and develop improvements to existing algorithms to improve performance on a dataset
● Identify and explore different problems and datasets that are fundamental to improving Fakour’s product portfolio
● Reduce most successful experiments to a working prototype that can be implemented in real time for production customers
Qualifications:
● Minimum degree MSc; Prefered PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
● Strong grasp of current ML techniques, especially Deep Learning
● You are passionate about large scale challenges in ML for Intelligent systems
● Having publication at high-impact conferences/journals on ML topics
● Writing and speaking English
