Job Title: Senior GolangDeveloper


BVITA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Go Expert with Other Backend Experience to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior Go Expert with Other Backend Experience, you will be responsible for leading the development of web applications using Go and other backend technologies, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the unique needs of our clients.


Requirements:


  • Excellent English conversation skills
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Go software engineer
  • Experience building long lived enterprise applications
  • A passion for writing high quality, well-tested code (including experience with automated testing frameworks)
  • Deep experience collaborating closely with UX and UI devs on feature definition and implementation
  • Comfort with agile methodologies, test-driven development, source control management, and automated testing
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and leading a team in a collaborative environment
  • Experience refactoring and optimizing existing software as part of your development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
Nice to have:
Familiarity with event driven architectures a plus
Familiarity with AWS a plus especially Lambda and Kinesis



Responsibilities:


  • Leveraging AWS and especially AWS Lambda to deliver serverless Go apps
  • Creating infrastructure as code ensure reproducible deployments
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers on product roadmap and architecture development plans
  • Addressing escalations and important bugs
  • Assisting in the interview and selection process of engineering candidates as our team scales
  • Actively contributing to a culture of extreme ownership, constant improvement, and engineering excellence
Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
Payment is in USD, (USDT Tether)


Location:
This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.


Work Hours:
Work hours will be based on CST Timezone, from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
