Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java - Database



BVITA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer Java - Database to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior Software Engineer Java - Database, you will be responsible for leading the development of applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the unique needs of our clients.



Requirements:



  • Excellent English conversation skills
  • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience in profiling and optimizing high-performance applications
  • Deep understanding of how relational and NoSQL databases work internally, including but not limited to Postgresql, MySQL, and MongoDB
  • Proficient in Java
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • You take a user-centric approach to building products and developer tools
  • You enjoy building abstractions & tools which multiply output
  • Excited to work remote
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • A passion for continuous learning and improvement (both at a personal and team level)

Responsibilities:



  • Drive project design and build database sources
  • Lead cross-team technical initiatives
  • Pioneer the creation of new patterns, tools, and frameworks for the connectors organization
  • Help shape the Database Sources team roadmap and product
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Write high-leverage code
  • Mentor engineers

Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
Payment is in USD (USDT Tether)




Location:
This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Work hours will be based on CST, from 8 or 9 AM to 4 or 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
