Job Title: Senior Node js Developer



BVITA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Node js Developer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior Node js Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the unique needs of our clients.



Requirements:



  • 7+ years experience in a senior developer role; ideally, you have delivered business-critical software to large enterprises
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Node js and Express or other framework
  • Ability to craft new API specifications and develop to provided specifications
  • , Fluency in Node js, SQL and noSQL databases (MongoDB, mySQL ...)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and leading a team in a collaborative environment
  • Experience refactoring and optimizing existing software as part of your development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
Responsibilities:



  • Building APIs making sure they are properly designed and scale according to the business needs
    Creating data pipelines to pull data from production services into our data warehouse - powering reporting, data analytics and data science
  • Writing event consumers to build new data models in order to provide this data to new flows and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products
  • Write and maintain technical project documentation including inline code commenting, Git repo readme, and clear commit messages.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
Payment is in USD (USDT Tether)




Location:
This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Work hours will be based on CST, from 8 or 9 AM to 4 or 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
