Job Title: Senior Ruby On Rails Developer




BVITA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Ruby On Rails Developer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior Ruby On RailsDeveloper, you will be responsible for leading the development of applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the unique needs of our clients.




Requirements:



  • Excellent English Conversation
  • 5+ year of experience with Ruby on Rails or other Ruby frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, DOM, CSS, HTML
  • Strong experience with Git versioning systems
  • Experience refactoring and optimizing existing software as part of your development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Experience with modern Javascript libraries, frameworks & its ecosystem will be a huge plus. Example: React.js / Ember.js / Angular.js / Vue.js etc. is a plus
  • Experience with scaling Monolith and REST APIs will be a plus
  • Working knowledge or understanding of the SaaS ecosystem will be a plus
  • Contribution to open source projects, have participated in some technical community or meetups or interest group or have written or spoken in public about their technical ideas
  • Inclination to develop your own gems or reusable components or libraries is a plus


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in application development
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
Compensation:
We offer a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills.
Payment is in USD (USDT Tether)




Location:
This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Work hours will be based on CST, from 8 or 9 AM to 4 or 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
