Job Title: Senior Android Developer

BVITA is looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Senior Android Developer at BVITA, you will not only be responsible for designing and developing complex, high-quality Android applications but also leading a team of developers to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:



  • Excellent English communication skills (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 79) or similar experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and other web services
  • Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Experience and deep understanding of EXOPlayer SDK and Jetpack Compose is a plus

Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop complex, high-quality Android applications using EXOPlayer SDK and Jetpack Compose
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and scalability of Android applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android application development
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Compensation:

BVITA offers a very competitive compensation package based on experience and skills. Payment is in USD, (USDT Tether). minimum: 10 USD/hour

Location:

This is a full-time remote position and the candidate can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.

Work Hours:

Work hours will be based on CST Timezone, from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. (1 hour floating  time)
