Duties and Tasks
- Create and deploy repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable propensity models, through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques
- Lead analytic approaches, integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts, and developers
- Advocate and educate on the value of data-driven decision making
- Prepare data from different data sets for building predictive models and to communicate the results.
- Develop AI and Machine learning solutions to optimize business performance
Skills and Knowledge
- MSc, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or closely related fields
- Expertise in Python
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g. MLlib, Scikit, etc.)
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Experience with development tools and systems (Linux, Git)
- Knowledge of back-end development skills (e.g. in Flask web framework)
- Good knowledge of query engines for big data (e.g. Elasticsearch) and visualization tools (e.g. Kibana) is a plus
- Experience working with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka is a plus
- Familiarity with NLP is a plus
- Ability to deliver data science projects from start to end, such as idea generation, project definition, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working as part of a development team
- Good written English communication skills
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented, detail-oriented, and responsive personal style
