Senior SEO and AI Search Specialist

(hybrid) | Full-time

The role
Search has changed. People now get answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews, often without clicking a link. We need someone who already works this way. You will own organic visibility for our clients and for Blue BearX across traditional search and AI-generated answers. You set the strategy, build the systems and show the results.

What you'll do

  • Lead SEO, GEO (generative engine optimisation) and AEO (answer engine optimisation) strategy across a portfolio of clients
  • Get brands cited, mentioned and recommended in AI answers, not just ranked on page one
  • Structure content for extraction: entities, schema, clear answers, topical authority
  • Run advanced technical audits covering crawlability, rendering, site architecture, Core Web Vitals and structured data
  • Build AI-assisted content workflows that scale without losing quality
  • Track AI visibility alongside traditional rankings, and build reporting that connects both to revenue
  • Work with developers on Next.js, WordPress and Shopify builds
  • Shape digital PR and brand mention strategy to strengthen authority signals for LLMs
  • Advise clients directly and explain complex changes in plain language
What you bring

  • 5+ years in SEO, with senior or lead experience, ideally agency side
  • Proven GEO and AEO work, with examples of brands you've made visible in AI answers
  • Deep technical SEO knowledge. You can read code and challenge developers
  • Strong grasp of how LLMs retrieve, rank and cite sources
  • Hands-on with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush and Screaming Frog, plus AI visibility tracking tools such as Profound, Peec AI or Otterly
  • Comfortable using AI tools, APIs or scripts to automate research, audits and content operations
  • A record of measurable growth in traffic, visibility and conversions
  • Experience in UAE or UK markets. Arabic is a plus
