BlockCorp is a fully remote globally distributed team, with years of experience in blockchain and disruptive technologies. Our team consists of passionate health-tech and blockchain enthusiasts that are proud to be a part of this new and emerging technology.


As part of our ongoing expansion, we're looking for an experienced Golang developer passionate about software engineering excellence and teamwork. He/She will join a team of Blockchain developers working closely with the tech lead and product lead to design and implement a market-leading data protocol based on crypto/blockchain tech.


About the job


  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Proficiency coding using Golang, must submit work example
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • implementing effective REST APIs
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Writing efficient, scalable, robust, and maintainable code
  • Writing unit and end-to-end test scripts for required modules/packages
  • Technologies you will be using:
    • Cosmos SDK
    • Golang, Protobuf
    • Database: MongoDB, MySQL
    • Source control: Git
Qualifications


  • 5+ years of backend development experience
  • Experience with (or willing to learn fast) Tendermint
  • Having good knowledge of Algorithms, Data structures, and Networking
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Clear and concise written and vocal communication abilities in English
  • An excellent team player and humble
  • Having a problem-solving mindset 
  • Detailed-oriented person.
  • Agile, adaptable, and resourceful when dealing with ambiguity or faced with change
  • Strong analytical skills
