About the Role
- As a Business Data Analyst, you will help the organization develop a clearer understanding of business performance, competitors, and market dynamics by collecting and analyzing internal and external data.
- You will translate business needs into data-driven questions and develop analyses, dashboards, monitoring capabilities, and data products that enable faster and more informed decision-making.
- Success in this role will be defined by stakeholder trust in data, the quality and usability of analytical outputs, the effectiveness of ongoing monitoring capabilities, and the measurable impact of insights on business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, integrate, and analyze internal and external data from multiple sources.
- Continuously monitor business performance, competitors, market conditions, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor products, services, customer behavior, and business strategies.
- Translate business problems and stakeholder needs into data-driven questions, metrics, and analyses.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards, reports, and monitoring systems.
- Design and develop data products that improve decision-making and business processes.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to generate insights, automate reporting, and improve decision-making.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, product analytics, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex and large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and workflow automation.
- Experience designing and developing dashboards and effective data visualizations.
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Experience working with APIs and Git.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and analytical architectures.
- Familiarity with tools such as Airflow and Docker.
- Experience designing or developing data products.
- Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Curiosity, ownership, initiative, and a continuous-learning mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cryptocurrency, exchanges, trading, or digital financial products.
- Experience in market and competitive intelligence.
- Experience working with transactional, behavioral, or on-chain data.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Strategy, Marketing, or Operations teams.
