What You'll Do
● Strategic Vision: Define and implement a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring robust data infrastructure and AI integration to shape the next generation of Bit24's platform.
● Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
● Data Science Mastery: Oversee the design and development of advanced machine learning models for tasks like fraud detection, risk analysis, algorithmic trading, and market prediction.
● AI Innovation: Research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques to refine trading strategies, improve user experience, and enhance security.
● Platform Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of data insights and AI models into Bit24's cryptocurrency exchange, leading to improved decision-making and platform performance.
Who You Are
● Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the data science and AI domain, preferably in the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
● Strong Programmer: Exceptional proficiency in Python, R, and relevant data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
● Cloud-Forward Thinker: Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and BI tools (MS Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
● Problem Solver: Analytical mindset with a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights and impactful solutions.
● Cryptocurrency Enthusiast: Demonstrable understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading concepts, and blockchain technology.
