Job Description
We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for sophisticated design, development, maintenance, and debugging of various applications aimed at a range of supported iOS devices. Your primary focus will be iOS applications and their integration with back-end services; therefore, understanding APIs and commitment to collaborative problem-solving are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and debug iOS applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Refactor existing codebases and contribute to documentation.
Skills
- Solid understanding of the Swift programming language.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Experience with XCTest framework (and testing methods in general.)
- Familiarity with different API design models, especially REST based.
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with Objective-C is preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
- Solid understanding of OOP design and architectural principles.
- Knack for benchmarking and optimisation.
- Git (or experience with any other VCS) is a must.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Familiarity with Firebase.
- Familiarity with Agile development techniques and CI/CD pipeline.
- Knowledge of LLDB is desirable.
- Knowledge of C and C++ is a plus.
- Experience with application development for macOS, watchOS, and tvOS platforms is a plus.
