Job Description
As a Python developer you are responsible for designing, building, testing, and debugging programmes and integrating applications with third-party web services. You are expected to have experience designing and building web application, automation systems, and efficient bots. The ability to work well in a team is pivotal. You’ll primarily build highly responsive web applications and also contribute to both open source and closed source codebases (not necessarily, but mostly, backend projects.)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, debug, and maintain web applications.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable Python modules.
- Cooperate with other teams to address technical issues, build a better software, coach junior developers, and deliver high quality products.
- Knowledge sharing is our most important protocol and you are required to play well in teams.
Skills
- Solid understanding of the Python programming language and experience with packages like NumPy.
- Experience with Python frameworks (especially Django and Flask.)
- Experience with API design.
- Familiarity with both REST and RPC design models.
- Familiarity with ORM libraries.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
- Strong unit test and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Git is a must.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline.
- Familiarity with ML libraries is a plus.
