Native or near-native fluency in English is essential, as our projects operate at an international level and close collaboration with overseas teams is part of the day-to-day work.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Designing, building, and maintaining reliable data pipelines used in real production environments
• Developing scalable ETL and ELT workflows that move, transform, and validate data across multiple systems
• Working with large datasets and making sure data is accurate, accessible, and ready for analytics, reporting, and product use
• Building and improving data models, warehouse structures, and transformation layers that support business and technical teams
• Collaborating closely with backend, analytics, product, and leadership teams to understand data needs and turn them into dependable solutions
• Improving data quality, reliability, performance, and observability across the data platform
• Working with cloud-based data infrastructure, storage systems, databases, and workflow orchestration tools
• Automating manual data processes and reducing fragile, one-off workflows
• Troubleshooting pipeline failures, performance issues, data inconsistencies, and production data problems
• Making practical technical decisions that balance scalability, cost, maintainability, and business value

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or data platform roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL in production data environments
• Solid experience building ETL or ELT pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, dbt, or similar technologies
• Experience working with data warehouses or lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or similar systems
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and analytical data structures
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Comfortable working with batch processing, streaming data, APIs, files, events, and third-party data sources
• Experience with tools such as Spark, Kafka, Redis, S3, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform is a strong plus
• Good understanding of data quality, validation, monitoring, lineage, and governance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot calmly when pipelines fail or data looks wrong
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data issues clearly to both technical and non-technical teams
• Comfortable owning data architecture decisions and following through from design to production
