Job Title: Sql Developer


Experience: Mid-level


Employment Type: Full-time - On site



Job Description


We are looking for a Mid-Level SQL Developer with strong knowledge of T-SQL and SQL Server to join our development team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with existing database structures, writing and maintaining stored procedures, and optimizing queries to support backend systems.


The role focuses on developing and maintaining database logic while ensuring performance, reliability, and data consistency.




Responsibilities


• Work with existing SQL Server databases and understand current schema and data structures


• Write, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views


• Analyze and improve slow queries using execution plans and indexing strategies


• Assist in maintaining database performance and resolving query-related issues


• Translate business requirements into efficient SQL queries and database logic


• Troubleshoot data issues and investigate inconsistencies or performance problems


• Collaborate with backend developers, QA teams, and product teams to support application features


• Follow clean and maintainable T‑SQL coding practices


• Maintain basic documentation for database logic when needed




Required Skills & Experience


• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server


• Solid knowledge of T‑SQL including:


  • Stored Procedures
  • Joins and complex queries
  • CTEs and Temp Tables
  • Views and Functions
• Understanding of query optimization and indexing basics


• Ability to read and understand existing database structures and stored procedures


• Experience working with relational databases and understanding normalization concepts


• Ability to debug and troubleshoot database-related issues


• Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)




Preferred Skills


• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development environments


• Basic knowledge of log monitoring tools such as Graylog or similar centralized logging platforms


(Training and onboarding will be provided for these tools.)
