We're looking for a talented and experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality web application using the Laravel framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, design and implement technical solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of our web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel
  • Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design, write, and test clean, efficient, scalable, and secure code
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in web applications
  • Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
  • Implement secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities
  • Write clear and concise documentation for code
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a PHP Backend Developer (5+ years)
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and a passion for learning
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit) is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
