Responsibilities

Running the production and development environment to provide the highest levels of uptime, performance, and reliability.
Monitor and analyze key metrics within our environment to identify areas of improvement in order to enhance performance and reliability.
Perform root cause analysis on issues, and participate in blameless postmortems so we can learn from incidents and automate them out of recurrence.
Work on projects to improve our infrastructure, enhance our services and develop tools to work more efficiently.
Setting up automation and optimization processes to ensure reliability.
Spot issues before they cause problems and implement solutions.

Technical and behavioral competencies required

Have ability to work independently and in a team
Proactive, highly motivated, always curious about new technologies
Have experience with Linux and open source projects
Experience in incidence management and root cause analysis.
Experience in S3 storage and CDN.
Experience working with Containers,, Docker, and their associated deployment artifacts, APIs, and CLI tooling.
Experience working with developing automation solutions using common automation scripting tools. Experience with implementing, operating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
Comfortable working in Enterprise Linux-based environments.
Experience working with relational SQL databases as well as NoSQL and Key Value solutions.
