Position Overview

As a Webmaster at Aron Groups, you will manage and optimize our web presence, focusing on WordPress development, plugin management, and Technical SEO. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure our websites are secure, fast, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Management:
    • Oversee daily website operations, ensuring functionality, security, and updates.
    • Customize WordPress themes/plugins to meet business needs.
    • Implement updates, backups, and security protocols.
  • WordPress Development:
    • Optimize themes and plugins for performance and user experience.
    • Collaborate with design/content teams on new features and improvements.
    • Integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Conduct regular SEO audits and optimize site architecture, speed, and usability.
    • Optimize metadata, structured data, and other elements for search engine visibility.
    • Stay updated on SEO trends and Google algorithm changes.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead web projects, ensuring alignment with goals and deadlines.
    • Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time.
    • Continuously improve web management processes.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
    • Generate reports on traffic, SEO, and site health.
    • Provide actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure website security and compliance with industry standards.
    • Implement SSL, firewalls, and regular security audits.
    • Stay informed on legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Explore new technologies and strategies for website performance.
    • Experiment with plugins, themes, and integrations.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years as a Webmaster, focusing on WordPress development.
    • Strong experience in Technical SEO and Agile project management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
    • Expertise in Technical SEO and tools like Google Analytics.
    • Strong project management and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork in a remote setting.
Preferred:

  • Certifications in WordPress or Technical SEO.
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms.
