Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both
front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating dynamic web
applications using Nest.js for backend development and Next.js (with TypeScript) for front-end
development. You will play a key role in developing our core products, focusing on creating efficient,
scalable, and robust software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable web applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
Implement front-end interfaces and experiences using Next.js and TypeScript.
Manage and optimise Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
Experience developing RESTful APIs and good understanding of Microservices architecture.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
Good understanding of cloud deployments and Docker (preferably with AWS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in Agile Scrum practices, daily standups, and code reviews.
Follow our best practice coding standards, write unit tests, and document what you build.
Troubleshoot, debug, and update as required, ensuring high-quality deliverables with
minimum technical debt.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in full-stack development.
Strong proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Nest.js.
Expertise in front-end development with Next.js and TypeScript.
In-depth knowledge of relational database design and SQL (experience with Postgre is a
plus).
Solid understanding of RESTful API development and Microservices architecture.
Experience with Git, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in cloud deployments and Docker.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
